Leaving there, she attended Central Carolina Community College, completing her degree in business.Ĭarole worked for Van Groce Real Estate and then opened her own business, Carole Davis Real Estate, retiring from that after 21 years. Her jobs included local restaurants, United Van Lines, teacher's assistant at Ramey Air Force Base in Puerto Rico and at Greenwood School, N.C.Īfter her husband Tom retired from the Air Force, she worked for Pope Federal Credit Union ten years starting as a loan officer in the Mortgage Department and then working her way up to serve as president for four years. She started her work career following her husband during his 21 years in the Air Force.Ĭarole worked jobs that made sure she was home with her children from before they were in school through the time they were in high school.
